Enviromental Dangers / Benefits ~

Although Mt. Fuji has no reported casualties directly related to the eruption, there are still dangers that could occur with the next eruption. The last eruption wiped out many homes and crops. The Deaths that did occur were reported as starvation. Environmentally, another eruption could destroy homes of many creatures around the volcano as well as food supply. Although, Mt. Fuji is also beneficial to the environment as well. Eruptions help circulate important gases from inside the volcano to the atmosphere outside. The previous eruption helped to shape and form the way the land there is today.
